About Kate
Kate is a Jersey girl who has written all her life while working full time in education. She taught language arts/writing before she became an elementary school principal. She then decided to write full time. Wild Point Island, her first novel, was initially published with a small publishing house and was recently re-released. The sequel The Blue Medallion, the second book in the Wild Island Series, recently published, can be read as a stand alone.
Kate loves to play the piano, garden, study Italian, and travel. She also volunteers at a cat shelter. She writes an exotic travel blog called Hot Blogging with Chuck (www.katelutter.blogspot.com), detailing the often misadventures of her sometimes hero, often rascal cat Chuck who travels with her.
Kate also loves to hang out with her four beautiful sisters--Karen, Caroline, Cheryl and Cyndi--who are also her best friends. They cook, go to concerts, walk, play tennis and party together.

Chuck, the rascal cat, who's the star of Hot Blogging with Chuck, who never fails to do the very thing I want to do, but don't have the guts to do when we're traveling. He's the coolest cat I know.
Jack, our Jackie Pie, who gave us 17 wonderful years and who valiantly fought the last two with an ease and grace I'll admire always. We miss you so.
Theo, pronounced Teo, the newest addition to our cat menagerie--a very shy boy who we love like crazy and who still looks at us askance. Did you abduct me or adopt me, he wants to know.
